Adult Hockey League

New Season: February 2008 - May 2008
Summer Season: June 2008 - August 2008

Payment Options:

Option #1:
Each Team can pay there $1200.00 fee in 2 Installments of $600.00 with one being one week before the season and the other being with one week before the end of the first half of the season.

Option #2:
The whole team fee can be paid in full one week before the start of the season and receive a $100.00 discount from the $1200.00 team fee.

All teams must register through Planet Ice's Hockey Coordinator.

Planet Ice offers both competitive and noncompetitive Adult League play for adults ages 18 and over.

There are 3 season throughout a calendar year:
- January through May
- June through August
- September through December

Cost per team per season varies between $1400.00 and $1200.00 depending on total number of games we can schedule per team in any given season. Total amount must be paid in advance according to enrollment deadlines and payment options specified above.

Seasons consist usually of between 12 or 14 games per team.

Planet Ice accepts only team registrations for each season. Sorry we do not place individuals on teams. Individuals wishing to get on a team may provide Planet Ice with their information and that information will be made available to teams in need of players at their request.

Teams in any previous season will get first opportunity to register for the next season. (Seniority rule)

All players are required to pay a yearly registration and insurance fee of $18.00 that runs September through September.

All players and team must agree to abide by all of Planet Ice's facility and league rules and regulations.

• The Competitive division consists of an 8-10 game season with single or double elimination playoffs. The Competitive division is for teams and players looking for a faster and higher level of play. Team statistics are kept and posted in the local paper and in Planet Ice. Winning team of each season get their names on the "Hackers Cup"
• The noncompetitive league consists of a 12-14 game season with no playoffs. Team statistics are kept and posted in the local paper and in Planet Ice. The noncompetitive league is for low to mid level players looking for some competitive recreation.
• Games consist of a 3 minute warm up, 16 minute periods with a run clock, and a 45 second intermission between the 3 periods. Overtime consists of a 4 minute run clock. Games will end after overtime. Additional format information is available in Planet Ice's Adult League rules and regulations.
• Games are played primarily on Sunday and Monday evening but may also include Thursday evenings during certain periods of the year.
